Residents along the Randleman Road corridor could finally see changes being made to transportation and pedestrian issues in their community. Some of those issues involve sidewalk placements for pedestrians and bike lanes for cyclists.
After nearly a decadelong delay, Greensboro’s Planning Department is revisiting an area plan for the Randleman Road corridor.
“We want a livable walkable community,” Crystal Black, the Chair for the Southeast Greensboro Coalition, said.
The Southeast Greensboro Coalition is representing communities who say the Randleman Road corridor is in dire need of change. The organization has been hoping change will come to their community and don’t want the city to put off this project any longer.
